2021/22 Season

Sunshine in Motion

Miami City Ballet extends a warm welcome to you. Artistic Director Lourdes Lopez has curated a 2021/22 season with the joy of dance and captivating stories at its heart, and we can’t wait to celebrate our return to theaters with you.

The centerpiece of the season is an event not to be missed! The North American premiere of Alexei Ratmansky’s timeless and beautiful Swan Lake will be a momentous occasion.

The unforgettable classics Jewels, Prodigal Son and The Nutcracker are an escape to favorite far-away places. Two fresh company premieres will move and delight you: After the Rain and Herman Schmerman. And, a thrilling world premiere by choreographer Claudia Schreier and filmmaker Adam Barish will nudge the boundaries of dance as an art form in ways that will unleash your imagination.
