Director of Development

Miami City Ballet (MCB) was founded in 1985 by philanthropist, Toby Lerner Ansin, and Founding Artistic Director, Edward Villella. The Company’s repertory of 100 ballets, including 13 world premieres, was built upon George Balanchine’s neoclassical catalogue and gradually expanded to include seminal classical works and groundbreaking new choreography. MCB’s expansive selection of dance works contributes to the growth of the field highlighting South Florida as a global cultural hub, and provides residents and visitors alike with the opportunity to experience genre-defining artistry.

Company Manager

Reporting to the Director of Artistic Administration and to the Artistic Director, the Company Manager is responsible for all administrative duties involving the Dancers, Guest Artists, Choreographers and Répétiteurs. The Company Manager also organizes all tour travels.

Community Dance Education Program Manager

Position Overview:

The Community Dance Education Programs Manager will be an integral part of driving the benefits of dance with thousands of people each year, reach new audiences, and maintain a solid base of community support throughout Miami-Dade, Palm Beach and Broward counties. Successful candidates will be passionate about MCB’s Community Engagement mission to create community and connections through dance and will be excited to share the benefits of dance with people of all ages and abilities. ARTS GRANT WRITER

Reporting to the Director of Foundation and Government Relations, the Arts Grant Writer composes applications and compliant reports to institutional funders and conducts prospect research to increase the institutional funding portfolio. This position collaborates with the Director of Foundation and Government Relations and other staff throughout the organization to assist in achieving positive financial outcomes. While majority of responsibilities relate to writing, there are opportunities for growth.
