Norton Museum’s Art After Dark

MCB dancers perform Jose Limon’s Moors Pavane as part of the Norton Museum of Art’s special exhibition “Frida Kahlo, Diego Rivera and Mexican Modernism from the Jacques and Natasha Gelman Collection.”

Enjoy several short works choreographed and performed by extraordinary MCB dancers. Each work is inspired by an iconic location around Miami. The second half of the night features a live concert by R&B artist Han Beyli.

Guggenheim Museum: Works and Process

Preview two new works created for Miami City Ballet. Choreographer Claudia Schreier and filmmaker Adam Barish’s innovative blend of ballet and technology. Plus a pas de deux by choreographer Durante Verzola that examines the traditional gendered structure of partner dances.

The Kennedy Center presents Miami City Ballet’s George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker ®

MCB’s unique holiday spectacle will premiere at the Kennedy Center over Thanksgiving. Balanchine’s sparkling choreography, more than 100 dancers, a live orchestra, and dazzling new will capture the whole family’s imagination.

Downtown Doral Holiday Festival presents Miami City Ballet’s Radiance

Join us under the stars in Downtown Doral Park for a dazzling program filled with fan favorites and new works. The program includes beloved George Balanchine classics: the sparkling show-stopper Rubies, the joyous Allegro Brillante and the awe-inspiring pas de deux from George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker®. Plus Christopher Wheeldon’s melting After the Rain Pas De Deux and the world premiere of La Follia from rising choreographer Durante Verzola.

Artis Naples presents Miami City Ballet

Naples, Florida
Jan 12 and Apr 5 2022

In Jan, MCB returns to Naples with a mixed program featuring two Florida premieres: Herman Schmerman Pas de Deux, by William Forsythe and After the Rain Pas de Deux, with choreography by Christopher Wheeldon. The April performance features one of George Balanchine’s masterpieces, Jewels.
