Summer Dance Camps

Miami City Ballet’s Summer Dance Camps

Our Summer Dance Camps offer rigorous dance training programs for youth aged 7-15 in underserved communities in Palm Beach and Miami- Dade counties.

Launched in 2017, in Palm Beach County, the camp is taught by renowned faculty from Miami City Ballet and the artistic community. Children are provided with lunch and all necessary dancewear and supplies. The camp exposes children to various dance styles including Ballet, Contemporary/Jazz Technique, Dance History, and Choreography. The students will also participate in a community building class that addresses cultural, social, and personal development topics.

At the end of camp, the children participate in a Culminating Event to display what they have learned. To continue learning, families receive complimentary tickets to select Miami City Ballet performances in Palm Beach and Miami- Dade as well as potential connections to local training.
