MCB School Dorm

Miami City Ballet is delighted to announce that construction has begun on the Collins Park Artist Workforce Housing Project which will be home to the MCB School Dorm. This will be a transformational initiative for MCB as we have long recognized the urgent need for a dorm to provide our talented students with housing.

Each year, thousands of students receive high-quality dance instruction at Miami City Ballet School – from children to adult beginners, to our elite Pre-Professionals. The school has become a leading training academy, attracting students from all over the world – including Argentina, Brazil, Italy, Mexico, Paraguay, and Uruguay. These students are eager to receive the high-quality dance training that MCB School offers, and many of them sacrifice so much to get here. With the completion of the MCB School Dorm we can provide a safe and supportive environment for our students.

The dorm will be located in the Collins Park neighborhood in 22nd and 23rd Street, steps away from MCB Studios. Our students will reside in a 30-bed dormitory on the second floor, with the option for double occupancy during the Summer Intensive Program.
