Virtual Open House

For young artists of color, their families and teachers

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the Virtual Open House events have been postponed. We will announce new dates soon. To be notified, please click here to register your interest and we will email you with the date soon.

The MCB family are delighted to invite young artists of color, their families and teachers to our first Virtual Open House events.

Virtual Open House events are free online, interactive experiences designed to welcome and create access for young artists of color to visit behind-the-scenes of Miami City Ballet, one of America’s premiere ballet companies, and Miami City Ballet School, one of America’s leading dance training institutions.

These Virtual Open House events are part of Miami City Ballet’s commitment to create equal access and opportunity for all young artists, to open up relations and create bonds connecting MCB to Black and Brown dancers, and to the future of our art form. This initiative is the first in a number of action steps and reforms we will implement over time to move ballet forward and become an art form for everyone.

The Virtual Open House events will take place using Zoom. Links will be sent to registered participants prior to the event. For the best possible virtual experience, we recommend using the largest device screen you have available.
