We are delighted to welcome you to George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® in the Park. Your safety is important to us. To ensure you feel secure and comfortable at all times, Miami City Ballet and Downtown Doral are working with medical experts from Baptist Health South Florida to create a safe environment for our artists, staff and you, our audiences and community.

Enhanced, comprehensive health and safety protocols as recommended by the CDC and Baptist Health South Florida will be followed and strictly enforced for the benefit of everyone.

What We’re Doing To Keep You Safe

Keeping our audiences, artists and staff safe is our highest priority. We have introduced a range of health and safety measures, including:

Masks and social distancing

• All staff are required to wear masks and face shields at all times while on site.
• The venue is designed to allow for maximum physical distancing between people.
• All common areas have social distancing markers.
• To ensure utmost safety and wellbeing of all, food and drinks concessions will not be available on site. Because everyone needs to wear their mask at all times, food and drinks are not allowed to be brought into the venue. We encourage you to eat pre and post-show at one of the many excellent restaurants in Downtown Doral that are offering special deals for Nutcracker ticket-holders.
• Social distancing and face covering will be guidelines enforced at all times.

Enhanced Cleaning Protocols

• Public spaces are cleaned and disinfected between performances in accordance with CDC guidelines.
• Frequent cleaning/disinfecting of commonly touched surfaces like tables, handles, toilets, faucets, sinks, etc. with an approved EPA product.
• Front of House equipment (tablets, communication devices, etc) to be disinfected prior to each performance with an approved EPA product.
• Hand sanitizer will be provided at the entrance and near the restroom.

Minimum contact ticketing and venue

• Minimum contact entry, ticket check and exit.
• Flexible ticket exchanges – If you cannot attend a performance due to illness, we are offering a fee-free exchange and credit policy.
• No food, beverage and other concessions.
• No coat or bag check facility. Large bags and bulky items will not be permitted.
• No stroller parking area. We encourage you to leave strollers in your car.

Staff and Security

• Daily temperature checks and COVID symptom checks for all staff.
• All attendees and staff are required to self-certify that they will comply with the event’s safety policies and procedures including wearing face coverings and that violation of policies will cause removal from the event.
• Support from the security team and off-duty police will be employed in instances of non-compliance.

What You Need To Do To Stay Safe and Healthy

Please don’t attend if you feel unwell or are experiencing symptoms of COVID 19
If you cannot attend a performance due to illness, we are offering a fee-free exchange and credit policy. Read the CDC’s symptoms of COVID-19 here.

Wear a mask
Face masks will be required at all times for all staff and audience members aged 2 and over, from time of arrival at the venue until departure following the performance. Please bring a face mask and wear it at all times, including during the performance.

Practice social distancing in all areas
Physical distancing guidelines will be enforced at all times. The venue is designed to allow for maximum physical distancing between people. Foot traffic flow will be marked with social distancing intervals both outside and within the venue.

Have your ticket order number and your name ready at entry
Give these details to event staff to help ensure fluid and efficient entry while staying contact free.

Head straight to your designated pod
Congregating in common areas is not permitted. An Usher will direct you to your pod.

Practice good hand hygiene
Clean your hands thoroughly with soap and water in the restrooms on site and use the hand sanitizing stations.

Bring your own water
As we are unable to provide water stations or disposable cups, please bring your own water and ensure to replace your mask when you have finished drinking.

Leave large items at home or in your car
There will be no coat or bag check facility, or stroller parking. Large bags and bulky items will not be permitted.

Enjoy pre and post-performance dining in Downtown Doral
To ensure utmost safety and wellbeing of all, food and drinks concessions will not be available on site. Because everyone needs to wear their mask at all times, food and drinks are not allowed to be brought into the venue. We encourage you to eat pre and post-performance at one of the many excellent restaurants in Downtown Doral that are offering special deals for Nutcracker ticket-holders. Reservations are strongly recommended.

Patrons who do not comply with these conditions will not be admitted or will be asked to leave the venue to ensure the safety of all audiences, staff and artists.

Personal y seguridad

• Verificaciones diarias de temperatura y verificación de síntomas COVID para todo el personal.

Lo que necesita hacer para mantenerse segura y saludable

Usar una máscara. Se requerirán máscaras faciales en todo momento para todo el personal y los miembros de la audiencia mayores de 2 años, desde el momento de la llegada al lugar hasta la salida después de la actuación. Por favor traiga una mascarilla y úsela en todo momento, incluso durante la actuación.

Practique el distanciamiento social en todos los ámbitos. Las pautas de distanciamiento físico se harán cumplir en todo momento. El lugar está diseñado para permitir el máximo distanciamiento físico entre las personas. El flujo de tráfico peatonal estará marcado con intervalos de distanciamiento social tanto fuera como dentro del lugar.

Tenga a mano el número de pedido de su boleto y su nombre al ingresar. Proporcione estos detalles al personal del evento para ayudar a garantizar una entrada eficiente sin tener contacto. Dirígete directamente a tu cápsula designada. No se permite congregarse en áreas comunes. Un Usher lo dirigirá a su cápsula.

Practique una buena higiene de manos lavándose bien las manos con agua y jabón en los baños del lugar y usando las estaciones de desinfección de manos.

Traiga su propia agua ya que no podemos proporcionar estaciones de agua o vasos desechables.

Deje los artículos grandes en casa o en su automóvil. No habrá servicio de registro de abrigos o bolsos, ni estacionamiento para cochecitos. No se permitirán bolsas grandes ni artículos voluminosos.

Disfrute de una cena antes y después del espectáculo en el centro de Doral. Para garantizar la máxima seguridad y el bienestar de todos, las concesiones de alimentos y bebidas no estarán disponibles en el sitio.
