Health and Safety

Miami City Ballet and Downtown Doral are working with medical experts from Baptist Health South Florida to create a safe environment for our artists, staff, audiences and you, our community. Enhanced, comprehensive health and safety protocols as recommended by the CDC and our healthcare partner will be followed and strictly enforced for the benefit of everyone.

Downtown Doral Park will be transformed into an outdoor performance venue designed to ensure artist and audience safety. Tickets are available in 8’x8’ pods seating up to four guests, with an aisle on all four sides to ensure CDC physical distancing protocols can be followed.

Face masks will be required at all times for all staff and audience members, from time of arrival at the venue until departure following the performance. Because of this requirement, we encourage dining pre and post-show at nearby Downtown Doral restaurants as food and drink concessions will be limited at the venue.

Audience entry will be minimum contact, and all high-touch areas will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected in line with CDC sanitation guidelines.

Dancers, artistic staff and production crew will receive Covid-19 testing on a regular basis, as recommended by our healthcare partners and provided by Baptist Health South Florida.
