Support the Nutcracker
There’s no more popular ballet than George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker® and no more brilliant and magical a ballet narrative. Audiences – grown-ups as well as children – come back to it again and again, for Tchaikovsky’s great score, for its magic, as well as its profound insight into childhood. With the encouragement of the George Balanchine Trust, Miami City Ballet has commissioned the magnificent Cuban-American design-artists Isabel and Ruben Toledo to create an entirely new production for Fall 2017. – Lourdes Lopez
