Ana Arledge recently received her B.A. from The George Washington University with a double major in Dance and Public Health. Originally from Jacksonville, Florida, Ana has extensive training in ballet, modern, jazz, and world dance styles. She furthered her classical ballet training through summer intensives at Ballet Chicago and Orlando Ballet and expanded her contemporary dance experience with renowned programs such as Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, FLOCK, Urbanity Dance, Ground Grooves, and the Limón Dance Company. Her performance highlights include Dream of Infinity, a self-choreographed solo with original music presented at the National Gallery of Art, and Cantilever by the Erick Hawkins Dance Company, filmed for the U.S. Library of Congress.

Ana has held internships with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, where she deepened her commitment to arts education. As both a Luther Rice Fellow and Enosinian Scholar, she conducted research exploring the legacy of Merce Cunningham, culminating in a performance of his historic works alongside her own choreography.

Ana is passionate about fostering a love of movement in young dancers. Her teaching emphasizes strong technique, musicality, and creativity, while nurturing each child’s confidence and joy in dance. She believes that dance education can play a powerful role in supporting children’s physical, emotional, and mental well-being.

In her free time, Ana enjoys attending live performances, choreographing, and taking dance classes.
