MCB’s School-Year Programs provide rigorous, comprehensive training to young dancers, all the way from their first steps to the elite pre-professional track.
An intensive 5 week training program with students 8-18 who are committed to dance professionally and are ready to achieve a new level of artistic excellence.

The 2016 MCB Summer Intensive concluded with Summer Repertory Performances on July 22 & 23. Students showcased their talents and hard work with original choreography from MCB School faculty as well as excerpts from La Bayadère and the finale of George Balanchine’s Who Cares?
MCB School is pleased to welcome Arantxa Ochoa as our new Director of Faculty and Curriculum. Her appointment comes after three years of steady growth under the leadership of MCB Artistic Director and School Chairman Lourdes Lopez, and Director of School Administration Darleen Callaghan.
MCB School congratulates all graduates of the Pre-Professional Division. This year, as in all others, many have accepted contracts at national and international dance companies, and received scholarships to continue their dance education at the college level. Best of luck and keep dancing!
