Young Dancer Intensive

The Young Dancer Intensive is a two-week summer intensive program from the last week in July through the first week in August. This program is designed for young dancers who want a fun and challenging summer dance experience, guaranteed to improve their level of technique and prepare them for the school year ahead. Admission is by audition only.
The Young Dancer Intensive curriculum includes ballet technique, pointe, preparatory pointe, introduction to variations, variations, contemporary, musical theater, jazz, repertory class, character and Pilates. Classes are held Monday through Friday with a culminating Summer Showcase performance at MCB Studios.

Young Dancer Intensive auditions will be held at all cities during the 2017 Summer Intensive Audition Tour. Pre-registration opens October 1.
Students accepted into the Young Dancer Intensive will be notified by email within 5 days of their audition. Registration forms will be emailed within a week of acceptance and are due four weeks from the audition date. Placement in the program is granted on a first-come-first-serve basis. Once the program reaches full capacity, students will be placed on a waiting list. Please be sure to register and send your deposit in on time to ensure your place in the program.
Housing
We do not offer a housing option for this program.
