About the program

Miami City Ballet School’s Children Division introduces the basic concepts of dance including beginning steps and terminology, musicality, focus, flexibility and expression. These classes promote group interaction, creativity, body awareness and classroom etiquette. Open to boys and girls ages 3-7 with no audition required.

Is this program right for my child?

Children’s Division classes are open to all children ages 3-7. A perfect way to begin to foster the love of dance in your little one.

Program Options

1.Select the age group for your child
2.Choose one or two classes per week (Creative Movement – Ballet Preparatory II)
3.Choose the payment plan that works for you – full payment plan , two-payment plan, eight-payment plan

Class Schedule

World-class faculty ensure your child receives exceptional training and personalized attention. Each class is tailored to the specific age group.

Students must register for classes based on their age as of September 1, 2019.

Tuition and Fees:

Tuition – CM, PB, & BPI
One class per week: $820
Two classes per week: $1,558

Tuition – BPII
One class per week: $925.00
Two classes per week: $1,757.00

Tuition – BPIII
Two classes per week: $1850.00*

There is a non-refundable registration fee for all students of $100.
There is a non-refundable performance fee for all students of $25.

Tuition/fees and all payments are non-refundable, and non-transferable regardless of circumstance, either prior to, during or after the program.

End of year performances

At the end of the school year, students participate in the Children’s Division Showcase to highlight their accomplishments throughout the year and gain valuable stage experience.

How to register

Fall Registration is open! To secure a place, create a new account and complete registration by visiting our MCBS Parent Portal.

For new Students For current students

Students will be placed in the appropriate level based on their age as of September 1, 2019.

Classes will be filled on a first-come-first-serve basis. If a class reaches capacity, students will be placed on a waiting list.
