Miami City Ballet Keeps ‘Romeo And Juliet’ Young With John Cranko Version

The story of Romeo and Juliet is a seemingly inexhaustible inspiration for choreographers. At least 11 ballets have been set to the tragic romance Shakespeare made immortal in the late 16th century. Miami City Ballet will put its stamp on the tale this weekend, when it performs John Cranko’s full-evening version at the Kravis Center.
