Ana Codina Barlick Named President Of Miami City Ballet’s Board Of Governors

Ana Codina Barlick was recently elected President of Miami City Ballet’s Board of Governors. Codina Barlick, a Project Manager for Flagler Development Group in Coral Gables, Florida, served on the Board of Trustees since 2008 and is an active donor and volunteer. She is a native of South Florida and has been attending Miami City Ballet performances since childhood.Codina Barlick is currently overseeing the redevelopment of a tired 120 acre suburban office park into Downtown Doral, an exciting new mixed-use community in Doral, Florida. Prior to rejoining Flagler in August of 2004, Codina Barlick spent two years in Cambridge, Massachusetts completing an MBA at the MIT Sloan School of Business, where she was a co-founder of the MIT Sloan Real Estate Club. She went to business school after working four years in the real estate industry: as a leasing agent for Tishman Speyer Properties and as an Assistant Project Manager for Codina Group. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Trinity College in Hartford, Connecticut and also an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Business. She lives in Coral Gables with her husband, Robert Barlick, Jr., and their two children.’I am honored to have the opportunity to serve as President of a magnificent cultural institution such as Miami City Ballet. Mitchell Curran, who has served on MCB’s Board of Governors for two years, now moves up to become Chairman, and Mike Eidson, former Chairman, will continue to serve on the Board of Governors. At the annual meeting of the Board of Trustees, Jim Dubin, Esq. and Marta Ligia Lopez Cantera were also elected to the Board.###
