Artistic Director Lourdes Lopez came to Miami City Ballet in 2012 with the plan of pushing the company into the future. So when the opportunity arose last year to invite New York City Ballet dancer and choreographer Justin Peck to create a work for MCB, her immediate response was a resounding “Yes!”
