We are looking for college students or young professionals, age 20 or older, to work as chaperones at the 2017 MCB Summer Intensive. A background in dance or other arts is desirable, but not required. Previous experience as a chaperone with students ages 12-19 is preferable. We are also looking for at least one chaperone with a nursing background.
The Director of Development is a senior management position responsible for all aspects of planning, executing, and evaluating Miami City Ballet’s (MCB) fund raising program including individual giving, corporate, foundation and government support, and special events. In collaboration with the Executive Director, the DOD will work closely with the Board of Trustees, Board of Directors, the Artistic Director, and the Major Gifts consultant to expand MCB’s philanthropic profile in Florida and nationally.
The Director of Marketing, Sales and Communications is a senior management position responsible for all aspects of planning, implementing, and evaluating marketing, public relations, publications, and group marketing activities in support of Miami City Ballet (MCB) and Miami City Ballet School (MCBS) productions and events. In collaboration with the Executive Director and senior management team, the Director is responsible for developing long-term marketing, sales, and communications strategies, including MCB’s brand identity.
The company is not conducting auditions for the 2016-2017 Season.
Miami City Ballet is currently seeking interns to join our Development team for the 2016 spring semester. As part of this group, you will assist with the membership elements of development, including direct membership sales, member events, donor records, cultivation efforts, and administrative support. Our interns must be outgoing, sales oriented, critical thinkers, curious, organized, attentive to detail, and prepared to arrive each day with a positive, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. Miami City Ballet is seeking customer service-oriented, motivated individuals to fill several part-time positions in its Box Office. Must be computer literate with excellent interpersonal skills, detail-oriented and organized. Customer service experience is required.
