Palm Beach – Summer Dance Camp

Miami City Ballet is proud to be serving the Palm Beach community which robustly supports its season. Through the Palm Beach Summer Dance Camp we fulfill our mission of eliminating barriers to access and engage the emerging artists who may not otherwise have a chance to study dance with master teachers.

Our three weeks together introduced the dancers to an array of dance forms intentionally curated to uplift their bodies, hone their own imagination and voice, harness their versatility, musicality, focus and validate their imaginations and power. Through a three week study of classical Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Contemporary, Composition and Flamenco, the Company brings intensity, playfulness, individuality and the tireless effort of girls wanting to make their mark on this stage and in their world, in this moment today.

Along with the dance, the camp team created a brave and safe space of community through the consistent presence of a team, ongoing parent engagement, and community building pedagogical practices that included dialogue circles, community agreements, journals and celebration of each other.
