DARLEEN CALLAGHAN / SCHOOL DIRECTOR

Miami City Ballet School offers fully supervised student housing just a few blocks from our studios in Miami Beach. We occupy one of six newly-renovated buildings in the one square block Tradewinds complex on 24th Street and Pine Tree Drive. Our building is a 24-room facility, featuring a peaceful courtyard with chairs, tables and recliners, as well as tropical landscaping. It also features a beautiful pool area that is open to our students.

STAFF
The facility is fully staffed by our Director of Student Housing and Resident Assistants, and offers both security and supervision for your student.  Our staff is responsible for maintaining accountability for all resident students, as well as signing them in and out, enforcing all Housing Rules and Curfews, ensuring students’ safety and all medical emergencies.  Both the Director and Resident Assistants live in the facility.

SECURITY
The front desk of the building features 24-hour security, and all students are required to sign in and out every time they leave. Student Housing also has video surveillance in all common areas to ensure the safety of all in the building.

UNITS
Each one bedroom apartment is approximately 750 square feet, featuring a large bedroom with four bunk beds, living room, bathroom, two large closets and an oversized kitchen. The apartments are fully furnished with dressers, couches, desks, tables, chairs and an entertainment center. Every apartment also has a flat screen television in the bedroom and living room, as well as full cable and wireless Internet. We also feature weekly maid and towel service.

LOCATION
Miami City Ballet School’s Student Housing is conveniently just walking distance from MCB studios, ensuring safety for all of our residents.  The facility is only a few short blocks from the clear waters of Miami Beach, offering students a great way to relax during their down time. We are also a short walk from Miami Beach Senior High School, where many students attend classes in the morning prior to going to MCB School.
