MCB School Student Performances
Come and Celebrate!
It’s the end of the 2014-15 school year – come see our students shine and celebrate their achievements – and support MCB School in a special way at this year’s Benefit Performance on May 2nd. All performances are at the Lynn & Louis Wolfson, II Theatre at MCB Studios, 2200 Liberty Avenue in Miami Beach.

MCB School Benefit
Support MCB School in a special way with this benefit performance by MCB School Ensemble, featuring George Balanchine’s Western Symphony, Michel Fokine’s Les Sylphides, excerpts from Marius Petipa’s Coppélia, and new original works from MCB faculty members – Gerard Ebitz’s A Place I’ve Never Been and Maribel Modrono’s Funhouse.
Tickets are $100, and all proceeds benefit the MCB School. Includes one reserved seat at the performance, a listing in the program, an exclusive pre-show cocktail reception with MCB School Director Darleen Callaghan and the evening’s featured choreographers, and a celebratory toast immediately following the performance.

Student Choreography Showcase
Don’t miss this special presentation of new works by MCB School’s emerging choreographers. Featuring twelve pieces of original choreography created and performed by students in the Pre-Professional Division.

MCB School Ensemble Performances
These special year-end performances by the MCB School Ensemble feature George Balanchine’s Western Symphony, Michel Fokine’s Les Sylphides, excerpts from Marius Petipa’s Coppélia, and new original works from MCB faculty members – Gerard Ebitz’s A Place I’ve Never Been and Maribel Modrono’s Funhouse. Tickets are $25.
The MCB School Ensemble is composed of the top level students in the Pre-Professional Division of the School. They perform in MCB’s signature education and outreach program, Ballet for Young People, as well as in other special events and public performances throughout South Florida.
May 15, 16 & 17
Student Workshop Performances
This weekend of performances features students from every level of MCB School – from Level I through the Pre-Professional Division – performing original works by MCB School faculty in ballet, modern, jazz and character dance, culminating in the exciting finale of George Balanchine’s Western Symphony. Tickets are $30.
