MCB’s new production of George Balanchine’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream brings some of Shakespeare’s most celebrated characters to life. Join MCB Artistic Director Lourdes Lopez, playwright Tarell Alvin McCraney and the Miami City Ballet dancers for an exploration of the play, and how ballet dancers draw upon dramatic techniques from the theatre for inspiration.

Moderated by costume and design historian Tanya Williams Wetenhall.

Tickets are just $35 and include a complimentary lobby “open bar” featuring Absolut Elyx cocktails and soft drinks, beginning 30 minutes prior to curtain.

Miami Beach Residents: Complimentary tickets for the Saturday, February 6 matinee performance (2:30pm) are available to the first 26 Miami Beach residents who arrive at the box office starting at 1:30pm. Must present valid ID with Miami Beach address. Limit 2 tickets.
