Miami City Ballet Celebrates New Season

Miami City Ballet kicked off the 2014-15 season in grand style on October 17th at the Adrienne Arsht Center with John Cranko’s romantic classic Romeo and Juliet. The evening began with a pre-performance soirée on the plaza of the Arsht Center, replete with romantic tunes by DJ Corey Chase and photos on the red carpet with dancers.

Inside the theater, the much-anticipated return of Romeo and Juliet was well received by audience members with cheers, standing ovations and even some tears during a special flower presentation for principal dancer Jennifer Kronenberg, who celebrates 20 years with MCB this season. The Miami Herald called the show a “major crowd-pleaser.”
