MCB is currently hiring for the following positions: Position: Director of Marketing and Communications Department: Marketing Reports to: General Manager Direct Responsibilities: - Generating earned ticket income (South Florida)
- Directly supporting other income generation, such as providing tour marketing support and support for government tourist-related grants
- Generating and sustaining a positive image of the Company, its people and its School via media, public relations and graphics
- Managing the Marketing Department and activities/projects of MCB's Ad Agency, PR Agency and numerous marketing suppliers
- Directly handling and/or supervising the following Marketing functions --
- Market demographic and competitive research analysis
- Patron research and analysis
- Ticket pricing
- Income budgeting
- Expense budgeting + Sales reporting
- Advertising -- media, collateral, direct mail, e-marketing
- Public Relations
- Box Office, including e-ticketing
- Group sales
- Telemarketing
- Promotions
- Web site, social media
- MCB School marketing support
- Development Department marketing support
- Publications, including program books and E-Bravo newsletter
- Tour marketing support
- Grant marketing support
- Community Comp Program
- Manage the following major Marketing programs (tri-county plus Spanish)
- Image/Branding
- Subscription renewals
- New subscriptions (spring and fall)
- Repertory single ticket campaigns (4 per year)
- Nutcracker campaign
- Special projects -- Ballet for Young People, Open Barre
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Marketing/Business Administration
- MBA a plus, but not required
- 4-6 years of Marketing Management, preferably in performing arts, including expertise relative to advertising, P.R. Agencies and supervision of a marketing staff
- Detail-oriented, team player, multi-tasker, who meets deadlines and achieves results
