Miami City Ballet is currently hiring the following positions:

Executive Assistant to the Executive Director (posted 1/25/12)

•    Support the Executive Director in all day-to-day operations
•    Manage a heavy calendar and agendas that change frequently, and prioritize a demanding workload
•    Organize and attend monthly Board meetings – includes preparing agenda and meeting materials, coordinating with Board members before and after meetings, and transcribing minutes. Must keep impeccable records of all Board meetings.
•    Efficiency in answering correspondence and responding to phone messages in a professional and courteous manner
•    Exceptional writing skills for drafting acknowledgments and other copy
•    Strong computer skills – must be tech savvy
•    Excellent organizational, interpersonal and judgment skills
•    Strong communication skills and ability to deal with internal staff, Board members, as well as major donors
•    Comfortable working with a high level of confidentiality and discretion, and work well under time pressures

Miami City Ballet School Summer 2012 Chaperones (posted 12/9/11)
Program: Miami City Ballet School Summer Intensive

Work Dates: Saturday, June 23 through Saturday, July 28.

Job description: We are looking for mature individuals to work as chaperones at the Miami City Ballet School Summer Intensive.  Applicants must be in their late 20’s or older.

The students train at the Miami City Ballet studios on Miami Beach during the day but stay at the University of Miami.

The chaperones will be responsible for the well being of the student through out  the summer program.  The chaperones will ensure that all the rules are followed such as curfews and quiet times. The chaperone should be able to follow directions and have a sensitivity to the students needs and or concerns.

PARENTS OF SUMMER PROGRAM STUDENTS MAY NOT APPLY.
